(German made) Herbertz Messer Rostfrei Hunting Knife USED Fair Condition

I found this knife in an antique shop in Georgia in the early 2000's. It has seen a lot of action because it was the best knife I owned for many years. They hollow ground and heat treated the 440 Stainless blade to perfection, because it takes an edge easily, and holds it very well. I haven't been able to find much useful information on this model. This knife is top notch, although the brand reputation seems to have fallen far below that in recent years. If the brand reputation was higher, I'd be asking $250.

A great knife for someone who wants to buy the last knife they'll ever buy. It's lasted me 25 years, and looks like it will last a lifetime more. The only reason I'm letting this knife go is because I have acquired a few knives in recent years that perform as well as this one. Without regard to price point or brand reputation, this knife cuts as well as a KA-BAR® USMC or a Victorinox 42261 Large Outdoor Master Fixed Blade.
